These Terms of Use ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and UnderDog ("we", "us", "our") governing your use of the UnderDog mobile application (the "App"). By downloading, creating an account, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country) to use the App. By using the App you confirm that you meet this requirement.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account. You may delete your account at any time from within the App (Account menu → Delete Account), which permanently removes your account and associated data.
3. User-Generated Content and Zero-Tolerance Policy
The App displays listings of dogs available for adoption, which may include photos and descriptions submitted by rescue organisations and other users ("User Content").
There is zero tolerance for objectionable content or abusive behaviour. You agree that you will not create, upload, post, or transmit any content that is:
- unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, defamatory, or hateful;
- obscene, pornographic, or otherwise offensive;
- false, misleading, or fraudulent (including fake or scam adoption listings);
- promoting cruelty to animals or unlawful sale of animals;
- infringing on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others; or
- spam, malware, or otherwise disruptive.
By using the App you agree that you will not engage in abusive behaviour toward other users, and that objectionable content and abusive users are strictly prohibited.
4. Reporting, Blocking, and Moderation
Every listing in the App includes tools to report/flag objectionable content and to block content and users you do not wish to see. When you block content, it is removed from your feed immediately.
We review all reports of objectionable content and abusive users and take appropriate action — including removing the content and ejecting the offending user — within 24 hours. You may also report content by emailing underdogapp.contact@gmail.com.
5. Content Submissions
If you are an approved organisation able to submit dog listings, you represent that you have the right to share the content you submit and that it is accurate and complies with these Terms. We may remove any content, and suspend or terminate any account, at our sole discretion and without notice, for any violation of these Terms.
6. Adoptions
UnderDog is a discovery tool. We are not a party to, and are not responsible for, any adoption, transaction, or interaction between you and any rescue organisation. All adoptions are handled directly by the listing organisation under their own terms.
7. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
The App is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
